The PD3 and PD4 cables are equipped with XLR 3-pin or 5-pin connectors and transmit digital AES/EBU & DMX lighting control signals with absolute reliability. Low capacitance and attenuation plus dense shielding with spiral shield guarantee the vital interference-free signal transmission that is so crucial in digital media, even over long distances. Closely twisted pairs of conductors boost resistance against external electromagnetic interference fields. The PD3/PD4 is made up with our OT206Y cable, which has characteristic impedance of 110 Ω as is obligatory for digital signals. A rugged PVC outer jacket, a mere 6.0 mm in diameter, provides mechanical stability without impairing the cable’s extreme flexibility.
