The PD2 cables are equipped with XLR 3-pin or 5-pin connectors and transmit digital AES/EBU & DMX lighting control signals with absolute reliability. Low capacitance and attenuation plus dense shielding with spiral shield guarantee the vital interference-free signal transmission that is so crucial in digital media, even over long distances. Closely twisted pairs of conductors boost resistance against external electromagnetic interference fields. The LX2 is made up with our OT2000 cable, which has characteristic impedance of 110 Ω as is obligatory for digital signals. A rugged PVC outer jacket, a mere 6.5 mm in diameter, provides mechanical stability without impairing the cable’s extreme flexibility.
