Cables designed for outdoor/indoor installation in buildings and plants. Their improved fire resistance made them particularly suitable for high-rises, hospitals and department stores, as well as buildings with public accessibility. The primary-coated fibres, 245 μm Ø, run in a jelly-filled central bundle core, surrounded by a layer of glass-rovings with admixed swelling material and a sheath from FRNC material. Outdoors, the cables must be laid in a protective tube.
