Simplex cables are highly flexible and thus extremely suitable for patching in splitters and as connection cables. The dry tight buffered fibres (maximum stripping length 80 mm) simplify connector assembly and are resistant to mechanical strain and temperature fluctuations. Thanks to their sturdy design with external diameter of 2.8 mm, the cables have excellent tensile strength and crush resistance.
