The primary-coated fibres run in a jelly-filled central bundle core. A surrounding layer of non-metallic glass-rovings serves as protection against moisture, strain relief and as rodent protection. With their halogen-free, water-tight and UV-resistant PE outer jackets these cables are well suited for outdoor use, especially for direct buried laying. Fibre specifications and numbers are customised to fit all communication engineering applications such as audio, video and data transmission.
