This digital 8-channel in/out loom can be used in any studio environment with YAMAHA peripherals – be they recorders, desks, rack gear or interfaces. We used our proven OmniWIRE OW15Y digital cable for this product. Highly flexible, with spiral shield and supple PVC jacket, the cable naturally has AEB/EBU-compliant characteristic impedance of 110 ohms and is thus ideal for handling both analogue and digital signals. The 25-pin D-Sub connector (Male) have standard YAMAHA configuration. The pigtails of the individual conductors are made up with Neutrik XLR connectors (4x XLR 3-pin male and 4x XLR 3-pin female) and enclosed in an extra-strong self-extinguishing woven sleeve, so that they are suitable for use through a wide range of operating temperatures (-70 °C to +150 °C). The outer jacket has a transparent shrink sleeve at both ends for labelling as required.
