The introduction of new possibilities in professional sound reinforcement technology such as 3D and immersive audio, d&b Soundscape, L-Acoustics L-ISA etc. and beam steering technologies such as d&b Array Processing etc. also has an impact on existing cabling solutions. Taking this into account, we have developed our LSC2440YS, a 24-way speaker multicore cable that replaces up to three 8-way speaker cables in the above-mentioned systems. In combination with also new loudspeaker multipin connectors they reduce the set-up times and enable an unmistakable wiring of even large line array systems with array processing.
