The IY204 actually consists of two individual cables in a ZIP Cord design that allows them to be easily separated. The cable can be used for applications such as a Y adapter - for example, from stereo mini-jack to dual cinch connectors. The inner conductor is of flexible stranded wire, with PE insulation of the cores to keep capacitance low and prevent loss of treble. An extra-dense copper spiral shield efficiently minimizes interference while retaining full flexibility and is easy to work with.
