The KLOTZ PD1 slim patch cables are used when digital AES audio signals or digital DMX lighting control signals have to be bridged in a very small space. The built-in OT1000 AES/EBU & DMX patch cable with a characteristic impedance of 110 ohms has a symmetrical design and a very slim outer diameter of only 4.6 mm. The tinned, very dense spiral shielding ensures effective shielding in combination with high flexibility. This ensures clear and space-saving cabling, e.g. in large control cabinets. For the connectors, we rely on our in-house KLOTZ XLR. Thanks to its ergonomic design and robust metal housing, this live-ready connector has proven itself on stages and in studios worldwide. For DMX applications, the KLOTZ 5p. XLR (PD1-5XK) is used, for AES signals the KLOTZ 3p. XLR (PD1-3XK) is suitable. Thanks to these high-quality digital patch cables, artifacts in digital audio signals are a thing of the past. An ideal choice for confined space at the patch panel while maintaining signal quality.
