Efficient shielding, extra-long transmission distances of up to 300 metres and compact design despite its high conductor cross-section of 0.22 mm²: the OmniFIX TripleShield is ideal for both analogue and digital audio. The multicore comes into its own in installation applications involving long distances and high electromagnetic interference from sources such as mobile telephones, lighting cables and control systems or other electronic control systems that emit interference. Triple shielding provides the cable with optimum protection. The individual wire pairs with low signal attenuation are enclosed in an aluminium foil screen with drain wire to ensure high crosstalk attenuation. Each audio element has an ultra-thin numbered TPE-E tubular pair jacket, keeping the volume of the multicore to a minimum - and the more compact the cable, the lower the fire load. The overall shield comprises an AL foil with copper drain wire and extra-dense braided copper shield with 85 per cent screening. The flame-retardant halogen-free FRNC outer jacket is a further advantage in installation applications; the cable is classified in bundle test category C.
