These cables are suitable for installation in buildings, cable ducts and trays. Because the cable design permits direct connector mounting, splicing is unnecessary. The semi-tight buffered core (maximum stripping length 1000 mm) is surrounded by aramid fibres for strain relief and sheathed by a halogen-free and flame-retardant material. Multiple cables of this type are stranded around a central element and sheathed by a halogen-free and flame-retardant overall sheath.
