The SQ418H is ideal for installations. The jacket is of flame-retardant halogen-free FRNC while the four finely stranded wires are protected from electromagnetic interference with an AL foil shield and 100% screening earthed with a drain wire. Like all star-quad cables, the four cores are wired in such a way that opposite cores are electrically connected, thus reducing the cable's susceptibility to electromagnetic interference - as does the extremely short lay length of the core twisting.
